About response time and process
✅ Our 24-hour emergency hotline responds promptly upon receiving a request.
An initial assessment of the patient's condition and transfer feasibility is performed, followed by the development of a transfer plan.
Actual response time depends on factors such as medical condition, aircraft availability, routing and customs clearance.
✅ We cover major domestic cities as well as cross-border medical transfers.
✅ We can coordinate with global medical assistance network resources.
✅ Global medical assistance liaison is suitable for expatriate employees of multinational corporations, premium medical clients, clients of international insurance companies, and other scenarios requiring medical assistance coordination abroad.
For specific coverage and routing, please contact our emergency hotline.
Costs are calculated based on the following factors:
✅ Aircraft type
✅ Flight distance
✅ Medical team configuration
✅ Equipment requirements
✅ Ground transfer
Upon receiving a request, we develop a plan and quotation based on the specific situation.

Costs & Insurance
About transfer cost structure and insurance reimbursement
There is no fixed price for an aviation medical transfer; each mission is quoted based on a comprehensive assessment of the specific case:
✅ Medical condition & requirements — level of equipment needed (ventilator, ECMO, monitors) and medical crew configuration
✅ Distance & routing — flight distance, departure/arrival airports, cross-border or domestic
✅ Aircraft selection — dedicated air ambulance, medically configured business jet, or commercial airline stretcher
✅ Ground transfer & customs clearance — ambulances, border coordination and related support
❌ We cannot and should not quote a specific figure before assessment.
Once we receive the request, we first complete a medical & transfer feasibility assessment, then develop a plan with an itemized quotation. For cost inquiries, call our 24-hour hotline +86 134 3446 6661.
✅ Some commercial health insurance, high-end medical insurance and international travel insurance policies include medical evacuation coverage.
✅ We can assist in compiling the transfer plan, itemized costs and supporting documentation for the client's insurance claim.
❌ Whether a claim is payable and the reimbursement ratio depend on the specific policy terms as determined by the insurer; we make no guarantee.
We recommend confirming coverage with your insurer before transfer; in emergencies, the transfer can be initiated first and claim documentation completed afterwards.
Transfer Options & Pre-Flight Preparation
About aircraft selection, medical assessment and pre-transfer preparation
The two options suit different scenarios:
✅ Commercial airline stretcher — a stretcher installed on a scheduled airliner; relatively lower cost, suitable for stable patients who do not require continuous advanced life support; subject to airline schedules, routes and carrier approval.
✅ Dedicated air ambulance — a fully medicalized aircraft equipped with ventilators, ECMO, monitors and other equipment; flexible routing and scheduling, suitable for critically ill patients requiring continuous life support or urgent transfer; higher cost.
Selection basis: based on the fit-to-fly assessment by partner medical institutions, combined with distance, urgency and budget, we recommend the appropriate aircraft type and transfer plan.
A fit-to-fly assessment must be completed before any air transfer, performed by physicians from our partner medical institutions:
✅ Vital signs — whether blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, etc. are within a range tolerable for flight
✅ Primary disease & complications — assessment of the impact of reduced cabin pressure and relative hypoxia at altitude on the patient's condition
✅ Equipment dependency — whether the required life-support equipment can operate continuously on board
✅ Infectious disease screening — exclusion of communicable diseases restricted from air transport
❌ Patients whose condition is unstable and cannot be controlled with on-board medical measures are not recommended for immediate transfer.
The assessment conclusion serves as the basis for the transfer plan, aircraft selection and medical crew configuration.
The following are usually required:
✅ Complete medical records — diagnosis, treatment history, recent test and examination results
✅ Physician's certificate / fit-to-fly assessment report — issued by the attending physician or partner medical institution
✅ Medication & treatment list — required for continuous in-flight treatment
✅ Identity & travel documents — passport, visa, etc. for cross-border transfers
✅ Insurance-related documents — policy, letter of authorization (if applicable)
We provide a document checklist template and assist in liaising with hospitals and insurers to ensure completeness.
✅ Dedicated air ambulance — usually 1–2 family members can accompany on board, subject to aircraft cabin capacity and medical configuration.
✅ Commercial airline stretcher — family members may purchase tickets on the same flight, but access to the stretcher area is restricted by airline regulations.
❌ Accompanying arrangements must not interfere with medical procedures or flight safety.
Before transfer, we brief family members on the accompanying plan, seating arrangements and precautions; during critical-care transfers, family members must follow the medical team's instructions.
Special Scenarios & Emergency Response
About neonatal/pediatric, organ transplant and contingency handling
Neonatal and pediatric transfers require additional specialized configuration:
✅ Neonatal/pediatric transport incubator — maintains body temperature and vital sign stability
✅ Pediatric medical crew — dispatched by partner medical institutions with pediatric/neonatal qualifications
✅ Pediatric-specific equipment — infant ventilators, infusion pumps, pediatric-dose medications, etc.
✅ Family accompaniment & psychological support — parents may accompany when medical conditions permit
We match the appropriate pediatric transfer resources based on the patient's age, weight and condition.
Organ transplant transfer is the highest time-criticality mission category:
✅ Cold ischemia time window — a donor organ must be transported and transplanted within hours after procurement (tolerance varies by organ); time directly determines transplant outcome.
✅ Priority dispatch — we have established a green channel for organ transport with aviation resource partners, prioritizing flights and slots.
✅ Seamless end-to-end coordination — donor hospital procurement, air transport and recipient hospital implantation are coordinated to the minute.
✅ Contingency plans — backup routes and aircraft are pre-arranged to handle unexpected delays.
For organ transport requests, call 13434466661 immediately — we activate the priority response protocol right away.
✅ Pre-flight evaluation — before every transfer we verify schedules, en-route and airport weather with aviation resource partners and prepare a weather contingency plan.
✅ Flexible adjustment — in severe weather we can coordinate rescheduling, alternate airports or route changes; dedicated air ambulances offer greater schedule flexibility than commercial flights.
✅ Medical-priority principle — if the patient's condition does not permit waiting, we evaluate alternatives (different aircraft type, routing, or ground transfer relay).
❌ We never force a departure in weather conditions beyond safety standards; flight safety and patient safety always come first.
✅ Continuous medical monitoring — throughout the transfer, a medical team dispatched by partner medical institutions provides monitoring, equipped with ventilators, monitors, defibrillators and emergency medications.
✅ On-board emergency response — the medical team manages any change in the patient's condition per established protocols.
✅ Diversion & ground liaison — when necessary, we coordinate diversion to the nearest suitable airport, with ground hospitals pre-alerted and emergency green channels activated.
✅ Real-time communication — continuous contact with ground-based medical support teams for remote consultation.
❌ BOOZOUN does not directly provide medical services; on-board medical care is delivered by the medical team from partner institutions. We are responsible for emergency coordination and resource dispatch.
International Cooperation & Coordination
About language, customs clearance and partnership network for cross-border transfers
✅ Multilingual coordination — we provide bilingual (Chinese-English) coordination and can engage interpretation resources in other languages, covering communication with hospitals, airlines and embassies/consulates.
✅ Customs & visa assistance — we coordinate expedited medical visas, customs clearance facilitation, and customs declaration for medical equipment.
✅ Embassy & local liaison — when necessary, we assist in contacting the destination country's embassy/consulate and local medical assistance networks.
✅ Document pre-review — entry and medical document requirements of each country are verified in advance to avoid delays at the border.
Cross-border clearance timelines are subject to destination-country policies; we assess these in advance and build buffer time into the plan.
As an aviation medical coordination & dispatch service provider, BOOZOUN integrates resources through its partnership network:
✅ Aviation resource partners — we cooperate with airlines and business jet operators capable of medical transfer, dispatching air ambulance and stretcher resources.
✅ Partner medical institutions — partner hospitals/medical institutions dispatch medical teams and provide on-board medical equipment and medical care.
✅ Ground transfer network — we coordinate ambulances, border transfer and inter-hospital transport.
✅ Global assistance network — we connect with international medical assistance organizations to support cross-border transfers and overseas medical coordination.
❌ BOOZOUN does not operate aircraft and does not directly provide medical services; we focus on coordination, dispatch and end-to-end liaison.
